I used to make my meatloaf recipe shaped like burgers and cook them on the grill. I noticed that they stayed together better than my regular burgers. I think it was because of the cracker crumbs. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that the smashed burger recipe would work great with the addition of some bread or cracker crumbs.

Everything looks great, BTW. I am going to research gluten free cornbread recipes because I LOVE tamale pie.
