I bought the Rubbermaid Brillance (plastic bottom) two years ago. Over the two years, the base and lids have cracked. They were washed in dishwasher after each use. The lids and smaller bases on the top shelf and the largest bases (casserole) on the bottom rack. Some cracked within a month, others nearing two years. I recently replaced my sets with the glass version, washing the lids in top rack only. The manuals state both versions are dishwasher safe, lids on top rack only. My question: has anyone else experienced this issue. I did microwave the original set with the lid loosely placed on top of base. The glass version I only use plastic wrap to cover to contain splatters. Even though the glass is oven safe, I plan to use for storage only and reheat in microwave.
