It had crazy levels of plastic off-gassing when heated up and the smell was pretty noxious. I had to put it in my garage and run it empty for 8 hot/cold cycles. It was fine after that. I would still have it today but Cosori had a major recall. I have one from Instant Pot. If I was buying one today I would be looking at the Typher. The foil manufacturers say it doesn’t matter which side of the foil. I used to use shiny side in, but now it’s whatever happens to be face up is the inside.

Nothing makes crispier chicken skin than an air fryer. The goal is great food, regardless of the method. 👍🏻🇺🇸
