A Nespresso does not make espresso. It isn't brewed under pressure. It's entirely a different beverage

A good grinder is very important for good espresso. The built in grinder on the Breville is no good for lighter roasts (which is the best tasting coffee). The best setup for cheap is the Bambino, a good handgrinder like the K6, coffee scales, a WDT, and a spring tamp.

Good review yet missing is the category of lever machines e.g. Flair, Robot, Rok.
