Hey Mindy, I have tried a quarter tea spoon of baking soda however it turned the beef tastes a little better, please can you tell me why.

I've made this recipe numerous times. The only thing I do different is add a little bit of dark soy to the sauce mix.

Is there a way to make this without a wok? Maybe a cast iron skillet? I haven't mastered the no sticking on the wok yet

Outstanding!!!! This is my second recipe I've cooked from this channel for me (I love Chinese food) and my wife (she "hates" Chinese food), and she's raved about both dishes, and I wont order chicken lo mein out again either. If you haven't tried it try the ck lo mein, its fantastic. Very well done, I'm subscribed.
