I’ve never cooked pork chops before, but was trying to figure out some wholesome meals to prep for my mother in law’s freezer and was so happy that you posted this! I had some broccoli and pre-made mashed potatoes for sides, but needed a meat and happened to have some pork chops from a hello fresh box. Followed this recipe and it was delicious! Thank you for this non-daunting recipe 😊

He wasn't lying to you about not liking pork chops. Grown adults usually have a good handle on taste buds. You are just lucky enough to be with a polite individual who won't waste edible food. He seems to eat all of your other processed meat creations so I think we can give him the allowance of personal preference against pork chops.

You can't blame people for an aversion to chops if they've never had good ones.

Or even mediocre ones.

Growing up, my stepmother couldn't make jello correctly - I thought I hated jello.

Turns out I just didn't like jello with a rubbery crust.

You can imagine the travesty that occurred when she tried to make pork chops.

I was shocked when I moved out and discovered that cooking isn't terribly complicated.

It really doesn't take 20 minutes to grill a steak or a piece of fish.

Spices exist for a reason.

Celerery seed imparts great umami.

Bbq grills have variable heat levels.

Learn how to make a roux and you have superpowers.

People who can't shop for and prepare a meal suitable for at least informal dinner guests, change a tire, or install windows are useless to me.
