Olive oil does NOT prevent butter from burning cause simply olive oil does not have a high smoke point and therefore does not protect butter! Instead of wasting two ingredients, butter and olive oil so you don’t “burn” the butter, use clarified butter instead, which is easy to make and has the same high smoke point as most alternative to olive oil, oils like avocado oil, sunflower oil etc.
