I'm glad you did that water thing with the spaghetti sauce cans. Yes, my mom did that too and so do I. And yes, I've overdone the water a time or two too.

I prefer separate I don't like mines mixed I will still eat it but I prefer to see the sauce poured on top that's just how I grew up and my grandmother also used to put a little sugar in the sauce to take the tart out. But if I was doing baked spaghetti it would be just like yours AP looks delicious
