I'm French and I never knew this was thing lmao
For us it's mostly doing the same but just throwing the potatoes randomly into the plate, no fancy stuff 😅
Also, we're not using cheese for this since the cream and butter mixture is enough to build a nice crust
Still looks delicious tho ! ❤
