Used to buy beef bones for next to nothing. A bag of cut femurs costs 8-10 $ now. Used to be likewise with beef tongue and kidneys.

I love the chuck eye. When I first started buying them they were like $2 a pound in 2004. They got popular and now the price has gone through the roof like other cheap cuts.

Chuck Eye is only 30% cheaper than Ribeye
Denver Steak only 20% cheaper than Ribeye
Just buy the Ribeye when it's on sale

I don't eat any beef very much anymore..even hamburger is wayyyyy too expensive for what it is…..even at half price, any cut is too expensive to eat on even a semi-regular basis plus the quality is usually disappointing to boot….not worth the $$
