Last night I made this recipe, but I also added chicken. I have to say I did not like the flavor of the cream cheese; it was a bit sour to me. My dish also was too thick, so I added some pasta water, which others have suggested. I believe that made it even thicker, since the pasta water has starch. So tonight, I will reheat using chicken broth and/or hot water. I have to say, yours looks good, especially, with the shrimp! Thanks.
