This is a good standby recipe, tho as others have mentioned putting in stock instead of water makes it much better. Also works super well in an instant pot!

I’ve made this before and I’ll say as a med student who often doesn’t have time to cook properly, this is an easy go to meal, just put everything in a pan and leave it to do it’s thing for 10 minutes while I get back to work. Is it gourmet authentic cooking? No but its not bad, like some have said frying the onion and garlic first gives an extra depth of flavour and change out water for stock but otherwise it’s not that bad of a meal for something easy and quick!
