They don't care about water accumulating in areas in their products and causing mold. Case in point, the stem of this salad spinner. The top plate can easily be removed for washing, but water stays in the stem. I washed mine day before yesterday, and I'm still shaking water out of it. I guess I'm just supposed to spray mold all over my salad — mmmm, boy!
