Im curious as to why u soaked yr nuts in water before adding it to the halwa and do u soak it in hot or cold water. 😋 recipe

I'm of Norwegian descent and grew up in North Dakota but the minute this dessert touched my lips I was in love! It is by far my favorite dessert and Indian is my favorite cuisine! Whenever my husband and I eat it we always say "So this is what flavor is!" 😂❤
