You don't want plastic – you choose steel or wood. Simple and has consequences. I don't like stainless steel boxes myself, but I love the winner (I have several of this company :)). I believe they are dawn just made as the perfect box for a European / American / … ONLY INSPIRED bento. I am the one who buys the container I like and packs whatever I like there – rather sandwiches and salads than rice and meat. There is no obligation to stick to Japanese food only when you make a lunchbox – I don't live in Japan and I have no ties to this country, but I like beautiful, healthy lunches. . In addition, the box that won is really great. For those who write that everything fits there because the box is huge – you can take only one part with you instead of two and it is really tiny 🙂
