You're missing the point of my previous comment. If it's not tall, like the regular height of cakes, that means we'll have to bake twice as many cakes as we'd usually bake to "build", for example, a birthday cake. Sometimes, a cake's height is as important as its taste and texture.

Just bake it in a smaller round tin such as a 6-inch or 8-inch. I wouldn't mind that it isn't tall, either. 💖💖💖
