In USA if you just want the steaks, it is cheaper to just buy filet mignon by the pound. You need to want the other stuff to make the whole tenderloin worth it.

Or you can take a whole one, trim it, oil and season the hell out of it, roast it. Slice it up, some sauce, mid rare 🥵 scrumptious
