If you're going to pre-boil the water, add the pasta and wait, then it's just the normal way to cook pasta on the stove. What we need is a test if we can add X amount of pasta, Y amount of room temperature water, turn the rice cooker on and leave it unattended until it stops automatically – like we do for rice.
