We Chinese ppl generally don't eat this type of Western Chinese cuisine. Don't mean it's bad or inauthentic. Chinese ppl created this. We cook this but don't eat this. lol A Chinese version would do away with the batter and deep frying. Use a velveting method on the chicken. And definitely dial back on the sweetness.
