The cake was awesome. We did have trouble making the fudge frosting. We refrigerated the fudge, but it softened quickly at room temp. We frosted the cake anyway and refrigerated the cake again to set the frosting until we took it out for the birthday reveal. Altogether, the cake was full of chocolate flavor, not dry, and had a lovely crumb. The frosting was decadent and complimented the cake perfectly.
