Should have made a double batch because everyone wanted some to take home. I did bump up the strawberry in the topping by adding 2 T simply fruit jam. This is definitely going to be a regular springtime dessert in our house.

Tender and sweet, never crunchy or pithy or tart. You can grow them yourself, but you'll never see them in a market, (probably) not even in a farmer's market. One of the delights of local, seasonal produce. Oh, yes, this looks like a nice recipe.
