I purchased my 1st black stone a few months ago and used this exact method to season it. I have the Omnivore 36” 4 burner and been using it 2-3 times a week and love it. The one and only thing I don’t like about it is the grease trap in the back. Not big enough and a little flimsy . That is my one and only complaint but other than that, we love it.
