Thank you for this comparison. I've been on the fence about "instant pots" and I think I'm still going to hold out for the time being. I've got 2 crock pots and a dutch oven, Lodge, I think, and I use them according to the end result I'm seeking. Not to mention the various soup pots, pasta pots, steamer pots, and the list goes on. Can a cook really have too many pots?!?! 😏😘😎😍

Loved this very helpful video. We have a very tiny kitchen with beefed up, multiple electrical outlets, but very restricted counter and storage space. I really like that the Instant Pot is cast iron and that I don't have to lift it up from a cupboard storage space to put it on the counter. It's attractive enough to live on the counter.
I haven't decided whether to buy it, but your video might sway me to do so. There is no way that we would be able to store, yet alone use, two separate, heavy pots at this stage of our lives.

Will never understand why anyone would pick up an Instant Pot in any form over the Ninja Foodi. Having used both the Foodi is far superior

Le Creuset pots rims ARE ENAMELED! It is a clear coat. There is absolutely no need to oil the rim. One should never bang it with a spoon or some such or it will damage the enamel and make it chip, at least this she got right. Just watch a video on how the pots are manufactured.

I have a Staub dutch oven, and I think that, if anyone even remotely knows what they're doing, the issue of a the black/dark interior makes zero difference. The light-colored interiors of a Le Creuset, etc only matter if you're new to cooking or if you have a hard time paying attention.

I have a Dutch oven and an inexpensive induction hot plate. It does the job and cost less than all options.
