I feel like this is a cheap way of doing this. I'd rather real lasagna, with a ragu, fresh tomato sauce and bechamel.

Being vegetarian, I would use plant based sausage and ground “meat” substitute for my lasagna, and maybe add some dried mint to the cheese mixture, like my mom did in her manicotti. Chef’s kiss 😘

Probably the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Never made lasagne before. I maybe should have added more liquid to the sauce as it was a tad dry in the end but still absolutely delicious.
