I went to a Thai restaurant in Maryland before and they had something similar to sweet and spicy spaghetti but it has shrimp instead of ground meat. It reminded me so much of Filipino spaghetti, it was so good. I regret not remembering what it's called.

This is good, but we use any hot dogs and we use fresh hotdogs, mostly. You probably saw someone using Vienna sausage in a can. But mostly, we use the ones in plastic vacuum bags. Also, we use ground beef instead of pork. But hey, it’s your recipe. I don’t think I’ve eaten a pork spaghetti yet.

This dish is like when you are a kid and put ketchup on pasta, but instead of that boring experience it is meaty and sweet. You can add chili's to it to give it depth. Or spicy sausage… I be crazy and put in fermented fish sauce (bagoong isda) and regular fish sauce (patis) for even MORE depth. Agh I miss thissss

We don’t really use canned hotdogs. Never heard of it. We use Red hotdogs. I feel like using Banana ketchup for Filipino spaghetti is more Carinderia style. We do use tomato sauce/pasta sauce also.

As a Filipino, living in Australia. Filipino spaghetti is always on the table. My kids loved it, they always say Mommy's spaghetti. Sometimes my kids bring it to school during their school activities and it will always finish in no time.
