Just ordered mine. Im hoping to get it some time in Oct. Fingers crossed. Ive been toying with the idea of getting a pellett cooker for a few years..Figured Id go with one of the best…I hope the flavor is close to an offset.

Do you know the distance from the top grate to the charcoal basket? Just wondering if it’s far enough for direct heat cooking.

I am on the fence between the LSG and Yoder 640. But I have been leaning more towards the LSG. Would you say a counterweight for the door would be a nice addition? Thanks for the great review.

can you add some wood chunks for additional real wood smoke?
