					<description><![CDATA[Weight loss means you have to aim for less calories.  And you get there by NOT using just fruit.  I&#039;ve been eating smoothies for about 40 years.  But a while back it dawned on me that I didn&#039;t need that much sweetness to keep them palatable.  So I started adding items like cucumbers, zucchini, celery, cabbage, orange/red bell peppers, sprouts, etc.  Half fruit, half veggie; with spices and mint.  And ground flax seed and a little tahini or peanut butter or ground nuts.  It works for me.]]></description>
