I love extra sharp cheddar brand Crystal Farms here in Minneapolis. I find it is a nice solid block that slices well for crackers or melting on omelets and has great taste. However I’m going to have to try Kerrygold at least once. 🥰☕️

the kraft type cheddar is terrible.. it is more like mozzarella with a slight cheddar taste..cracker barrel is good but priced too high.. cabot is very good and reasonably priced.. some chain stores carry a white chedar store brand that is also very good and close enough to cabot.. the kraft type is for people that dont actually know what good cheddar is suppose to be

How can you say it's sharp cheese, when I went to the US I had a taste of it, it tastes nothing. But I guess it's just my french tongue that is accomodated with strong french cheese

Has nothing to do with aging, Kraft is milder because the manufacturer blends milk from all over the country to give it a flat average taste that does not change due to year-to-year weather fluctuations.
