I just let the chicken sit on the countertop until it is no longer cold. Never had a problem. Also, I am buying MSG! It makes things taste better and is not dangerous contrary to belief!

when you put the thermometer in the reading you got were 184 – 199
and you never showed us the inside of the finished product
my guess is that they were overcooked but I can't say for sure as I never saw the finished meat
