I smoked a rack of baby backs on my Traeger and smoked a rack on a stick burner. I found that the Traeger did a better job.

Great review! I think I would have to go with the pit boss since it has a lower price tag and no broken control – The ribs look fantastic off of both for sure – maybe because of the skill of the cook 😊. I'd be happy to eat either one 😋

Every time you talk about that XL sounds like you dont really like it for the $$ that it cost. I hope that Traeger sent you that smoker and it didnt came out of your pocket. That's a lot of money for that pit. By the look of it LSG pit is less money and a much better smoker.

Can anyone advice me if I should get the pitboss elite 1600 for $1399 or the Traeger Ironwood XL for 1999, I'm new to pellete grilling, I normally just use propane or charcoal, suggestion?

Traeger isn’t bad but I’m a pit boss fan. If Traeger was cheaper maybe I’d get one. I have a Traeger at work and it has way too many bells and whistles

Both brands are equally junk! For a pellet you can’t beat Smoke Daddy’s pellet pro!
