Oxtail is such an under appreciated smoked cut. Tastes better than cheeks, but tender like pot roast.

My mother used to make bbq ox tails in the oven 60 years ago. It was the cheapest meat available. She'd make a large roaster pot full. My football playing 6'9" brother & mom & i could eat that whole pot full. DAMN good. Mashed potatoes with the extra sauce. NEVER A LEFTOVER.
