We have the recommended handheld manual juicer. It gets used two to three times a week, squeezing lemons for iced tea. Quite happy with it.

I also have a Pondarosa lemon which are huge and the Brevelle works great for them.

I feel like ATK is behind the curve with recommending plastic appliances that interact with acids. Microplastics and forever chemicals are becoming a very large health concern for those of us who are paying attention.

I’m surprised the Chef’n Press is still the top choice. Mine only lasted a couple years before the plastic broke by the pivot point, right where you think it would. It also never completely juiced the fruit. I bought the Oxo to replace it. The Oxo takes more hand force but it also is more thorough in extracting the juice. It is all metal so I’m expecting it to last a good long time.

I have a small metal hand-held lever juicer for my small seedless limes. Between my lower hand strength and the size of the bowl. I'm not getting as much juice as I probably should. I'm seriously considering an upgrade to the hand held lever juicer which looks plenty larger. I'd expect much better results!

I'bought a set of the Chef'n juicers years ago – one sized for limes, one for lemons, and one for oranges. The lime one broke after not much use, and I haven't juiced an orange in a long time. The lemon one works quite well for me for limes and lemons, though.

The Breville cannot juice anything with soft peel like Clementine or mandarins. The whole flesh will come off and it is a complete and utter failure.
