Yes! It really really worked. I had a empty Classico jar stuck inside a large coffee mug. The trick for me was using, ice ; salt and boiling hot water. Plus I use a paring knife around the edges. Don’t give up keep trying😅😅😅😅😅

Thank you. It worked great for me, I let them sit for about 40 seconds and they came apart so easy. I have to say that I put hot water on the bottom container, not boiling but hot. Best of luck

Help everyone! This didn't work. I have a glass Ikea coffee cup with an 8oz Ball quilted crystal canning jar stuck in it. I tried the ice and hot water, but I think the canning jar is thicker glass and isn't contracting. First I tried dish soap, this trick and now (completely rinsed of soap)I tried a household spray lubricant like WD40. Any other suggestions?
