Great tip! I'd say use a dedicated pan that you won't use for cakes/breads again. Or, you can use a big iron skillet.

hey atk…great idea! but it got me wondering…to avoid scratching the pan i put the lava rocks into, couldn't i just line it with heavy-duty foil? just a thought…
