Most container lid sealing systems break down over time after repeated cycles in the dishwasher. Opening and closing the container lid 100x doesn't remotely address that problem. Follow more of a Container Reports style lab test and run them through the dishwasher (with detergent) on a normal cycle 100 times in between 100 uses, and then report back.
