But beware–the product smells strange when raw and definitely when cooking. The smell dissipates. I served the meatloaf at a Christmas party full of meat-lovers, and everyone admitted (just like Julia) that it definitely wasn't meat, but they were satisfied with it. Same with tacos–in that case it came even closer to fooling me.

It makes it harder to take this seriously. Jack was much more professional about it. I cook with a lot of plant based meat alternatives at the restaurant I work at and many are quite good. We've come a long way when it comes to what's available out there. Let's leave the skepticism behind and bring everyone on board.

Come on! Your staff could easily cook these properly. I make Impossible and Beyond burgers and they NEVER look this dry and flat. No wonder no one was impressed. This isn't helpful. If you cooked these up using any amount of oil and treated them like a meat-based burger, they would not look this this.
