This is why so many people hate the food (especially meat) in Trinidad and Tobago – they put all this 'chadon beni' seasoning in their meat, so most of their food reeks of this awful flavoring.

of all the pelau tutorial i've seen, your video showed the true the color and texture of a bess pelau. Love the explanations too- especially since the sugar burning process can get tricky. It would've been nice if the camera could've captured the adequate color before adding the chicken, but the steam was a bit of a hindrance. Great tutorial nevertheless. Love me some grainy pelau with good color!
