I don’t understand why fresh garlic – ‘if that’s all you have’ – will do at a pinch. Did I miss something and why is her preferred garlicky stuff better than fresh?

Personally, I can not stand soft-cooked eggs. Is it possible to beat the egg before putting it on the rest and baking it until actually done through?

I cook off a package of bacon in the oven, but leave it a touch underdone. Wrap in paper towels and stick in plastic bags. Than just finished on the stovetop.
