Leftover Bread Dosa Recipe:

Ingredients:

4-5 slices of leftover bread

1/2 cup of semolina (Rava)

1/4 cup of rice flour

1/4 cup of curd (yogurt)

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Water as required

Oil for cooking

Instructions:

Break the leftover bread slices into small pieces and add them to a blender or food processor.

Grind the bread until it turns into fine crumbs.

In a mixing bowl, add the bread crumbs, semolina, rice flour, curd, and salt. Mix everything well.

Add enough water to make a batter of pouring consistency. Mix well and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

Heat a non-stick pan or a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a dosa.

Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the bottom turns golden brown.

Flip the dosa and cook the other side as well.

Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sambar.

Leftover Bread Idli Recipe:

Ingredients:

4-5 slices of leftover bread

1 cup of semolina (Rava)

1/4 cup of curd (yogurt)

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Water as required

Oil for greasing

Instructions:

Break the leftover bread slices into small pieces and add them to a blender or food processor.

Grind the bread until it turns into fine crumbs.

In a mixing bowl, add the bread crumbs, semolina, curd, and salt. Mix everything well.

Add enough water to make a batter of pouring consistency. Mix well and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

Grease the idli molds with oil.

Pour the batter into the idli molds and steam for 10-12 minutes or until the idlis are cooked.

Remove the idlis from the molds and serve hot with chutney and sambar.

Leftover Bread Cutlet Recipe:

Ingredients:

4-5 slices of leftover bread

2 boiled and mashed potatoes

1/2 cup of finely chopped onions

1/2 cup of finely chopped carrots

1/2 cup of finely chopped green beans

1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder

1/2 teaspoon of garam masala

1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder

Salt to taste

Bread crumbs for coating

Oil for frying

Instructions:

Break the leftover bread slices into small pieces and add them to a blender or food processor.

Grind the bread until it turns into fine crumbs.

In a mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, chopped onions, carrots, green beans, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix everything well.

Shape the mixture into small cutlets.

Coat each cutlet with bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Fry the cutlets until they turn golden brown on both sides.

Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
