Today, we’re going share a recipe for vinayaka chavithi’s special prasadam, pesarapappu paramannam / sweet pongal. Most Telugu people make this dish on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaviti / Ganesh Chaturthi. This recipe seems similar to a traditional paramannam recipe, but the measurements of the items used in this recipe differ somewhat. We used rice, jaggery, milk, moong, cashews, desi ghee, fresh coconut pieces, dry grapes, and cardamom to make this delicious ghee paramannam. All of the ingredients can be found at home. We’ll share a few tips and tricks along the way to assist you prepare the very wonderful home-made paramannam prasadam / sweet pongal recipe. •3/4 cup Rice (soaked for 1 hour)
•2 cups Water
•2.1/4 cups Jaggery
•1/4 cup Water
1 litre Full Fat Milk
•1/4 cups Soaked Moong Dal
•1/4 – 1/3 cup cup Ghee
•1/4 cup Cashews
•2 tbsp Raisins
•Cardamom Powder
•1 pinch Edible Camphor
•A pinch Nutmeg powder
