  1. Don’t use artificial sweeteners for children. Sugar spike is not that bad as you are thinking, children can consume small amount of sugar like date or coconut sugar which have GI of 40 . That artificial sweeteners like stevia , erythritol have side effects like when consumed in more quantities and not advised for children
