Beef fry also known as Ularthu or Varattiyathu is one of the favourite side dish of Keralites. It usually serves with prime dishes such as boiled rice, parotta, chappathi etc. Also it can be served as a starter. This video is about the recipe of Kerala style beef fry.

🧺 INGREDIENTS
Beef – 1 kg
Turmeric Powder (മഞ്ഞള്‍പൊടി) – ¼ Teaspoon
Chilli Powder (മുളകുപൊടി) – 1½ Teaspoon
Coriander Powder (മല്ലിപ്പൊടി) – 2 Teaspoons
Garam Masala – 1½ Teaspoon (OR) Meat Masala – 2 Teaspoons
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) – 1½ + ½ Teaspoon
Ginger (ഇഞ്ചി) – 2 Inch Piece
Garlic (വെളുത്തുള്ളി) – 8 Cloves
Green Chilli (പച്ചമുളക്) – 3 Nos
Coconut Oil (വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ) – ¼ Cup (60 ml)
Onion (സവോള) – 2 Nos (Medium Size) – 250 gm
Curry Leaves (കറിവേപ്പില) – 3 Sprigs
Black Pepper Powder (കുരുമുളകുപൊടി) – 1½ + 1 Teaspoon
Ghee (നെയ്യ്) – 1 Tablespoon
