๐ฎ๐น๐ซ Straccetti di Pollo e Piselli
(Chicken Strips with Peas)
Ingredients:
๐ 1 lb chicken breast
๐ง
1 diced shallot
๐ซ Extra virgin olive oil (as needed)
๐พ All-purpose flour (for dredging the chicken)
๐ท 1/2 cup white wine
๐ง 1 knob of butter
๐ซ 1 can of peas, drained
๐ง Salt and pepper to taste
๐จโ๐ณInstructions:
1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and lightly dust them with flour.
2. In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil and add the diced shallot. Let it soften for a couple of minutes.
3. Add the floured chicken strips to the pan and cook until they get a bit of color.
4. Season with salt and pepper, then pour in the white wine.
5. Add in the drained peas and a knob of butter.
6. Cover the pan and let it cook on low heat for about 10 minutes, until everything is tender and flavorful.
