  2. We just tried the creamy wild rice soup this week. It is DEFINITELY getting added to our favorite list (along with the macaroni cheeseburger soup and creamy mushroom-bacon)!! It was super simple and flavor packed although I did double the thyme amount. That's just a personal preference in our house, we love it! It was so delicious though my mom was eating the remaining little bit right out of the cooking spoon😂. Thanks for the winner!

  3. It's all your fault. I'm going to alter the cajun chicken orzo a little… by stealing the orzo, and adding it into that baking dish for half an hour. Now, I have 0 experience when dealing with orzo, but I do have a box of it somewhere in the house, just looking for something to do with it. I also have alfredo, garlic, bacon, 1 red bell pepper, a big a** baking dish, and 4 chicken breasts. So, that's tomorrow night's dinner (the 24th, because I'm always late to these things).
    Pro-Tip: If you want the sauce to stick to your pasta (like that penne), hold back a few tablespoons of the water you boiled the pasta in. It's got the starches that'll cling to both the sauce (and slightly thicken it) and get the sauce to stick to the pasta more readily. After you've strained out the pasta, and ready to go on the plate, stir in those few tablespoons of pasta water. Then serve as normal. The sauce will stick, and be just a touch thicker.
