I met Benny thought instagram during COVID when he was selling smoked meat off his @tragergrills, amazing to see how far he’s come!
Brisket
Ribs
Turkey
Sausages
Coleslaw
Macaroni Salad
Brisket Beans
Mac N cheese
Pickles
AMBIANCE:
Defintly a lot bigger inside than I expected from the front entrance, love the picnic tables, could definitely see this get bumping with music in the summer
PRICES:
On par with local BBQ prices – people do not appreciate the prices of meat and labour required to make long cook barbecue. You trim you lose weight, you cook your meat shrinks by half so you’re constantly losing weight from the initial investment and then not to mention the time required.
FOOD:
Brisket and Ribs were deadly really enjoyed those and would highly recommend. I’m not a big sides guy, I lean towards something lighter and fresh to cut the richness of the bbq but our favourite sides were the Brisket Beans, Coleslaw.
DRINKS & COCKTAILS:
I do appreciate I can have an ice-cold IPA beer with my bbq, no cocktails just drinks in cans.
WOULD WE RETURN:
Yes 100%, would love to see it in the summer open doors buzzing.
LOCATION:
2409 Yonge St Unit 106, Toronto, ON M4P 2E7 – the subway goes right there and was definitely the play
NOTES:
This was easily 2x the amount of food we needed haha but it was great

😊😊😊
I gotta question ❓ how often do y'all work out
That platter probably cost $200
I've got a pretty good eye for good BBQ as a fatass Texan that loves to cook, but this doesn't look like a top notch spread to me. I can't taste it through the screen, but this is probably just above commercial BBQ like Famous Dave's and Dickey's.
Wow looks amazing
How much does a platter like that go for?
