Basic Flatbread Recipe—Combine about 4 cups plain white or whole wheat flour (your preference), 4 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, just about 3-4 tbsp.olive oil (optional, but highly recommended) and enough water to make a slightly sticky dough—you may use a mixing bowl and your hands (I prefer this method), or a stand mixer, if desired —turn out onto floured surface—knead until smooth, and no longer sticky—adding additional flour or water in small amounts at a time, if needed. Break off golf ball sized pieces, flour rolling pin and surface, then start rolling out to 1/8 inch thickness— heat up seasoned pan, then cook them like you would a tortilla—best results are achieved by turning several times during the cooking process—I like mine dipped in garlic butter, or hummus, or filled with whatever!!!—enjoy 👍
