Major comfort food in the colder months, stick to your ribs delicious with maybe a nap to follow. This is all about layering browning and flavour for almost a gravy level rich beef stew.

INGREDIENTS
Beef Stock
Carrots
Onion
Celery
Garlic
Tomato Paste
Red Wine
Beef Sirloin Cubes
Bay Leaf
Black Pepper
Onion & Garlic Powder
Dry Oregano
Olive Oil

COOK
Brown the beef at 500f in under the broiler while cooking the carrots, onions, celery and garlic on the stove in the pot. Once translucent add the tomato paste to cook down, deglaze with red wine, cook down again. Add beef, and seasoned beef stock filled past the goodies, then add aromatics and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then cover, crack the lid and leave on lowest burner setting for 2 hours *may vary. Seasoned to taste and test for tenderness.
