INGREDIENTS
4 pork slices
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
4 slices Swiss cheese
8 slices Ham
1 cup flour
2 eggs
2 cups panko bread crumbs
PREPARATION
1. On a cutting board, place a sheet of plastic wrap and sprinkle with 1 spoon of Oil.
2. Place a pork slice on plastic wrap and sprinkle the pork slices with salt, pepper. Place the second sheet of plastic wrap.
3. Pound until about ½ inch thick with a meat mallet, rolling pin, or heavy pan.
4. Remove the plastic wrap and place a layer of ham, then a layer of Swiss cheese, then one more layer of ham.
5. Wrap pork slices one into another.
6. Prepare wide dishes with flour, beaten egg, and bread crumbs, and dredge the wrapped pork in the flour, egg, and bread crumbs.
7. Place the breaded cordon bleu in a 325°F (170°C) pot of oil, and cook about 8 minutes per side or until the outside is an even golden brown.
