INGREDIENTS:
Serves 2
200g Pasta
1 can of Tuna
60g of Cherry Tomatoes
20-30 Capers to taste
2 cloves garlic
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Parsley
Salt
Method
Step 1
Slice tomatoes in half. In a pan add olive oil, garlic, parsley stems and tomatoes. Once the tomatoes have softened remove the garlic and parsley stems
Step 2
Add in capers. Boil the pasta in salt water according to packet instructions. Add pasta to the tomatoes along with 1/2 a cup of pasta water. Add tuna and garnish with parsley and olive oil

Portion for one person: Dice and sautée a quarter of an onion, 1/2 chillies and a few cloves of chopped garlic, then add tuna, stir occasionally and wait till it's slightly brown. Then add tomatoes and salt to your liking and cook till the tomatoes are soft. Garnish with anything u like. Adding some chilli and browning the tuna instead of adding it straight from the can makes the pasta much more flavourful. 😋
Better use tagliatelle or even penne if you actually want to cook the tomatoes right. Also never use that Barilla crap… As a commercial pasta I use only La Molisana pasta!
