  1. Kata moshlay beef-Ingredient:
    Fatty beef chunks/curry pieces 2kgs
    3 medium onions
    3-5 medium tomatoes
    100g fresh ginger sliced
    100g fresh whole garlic
    Baby potatoes 6-7 optional but so good! 2 cinnamon, 6 cardamom, 2-3 bay leaves
    1tsp gorom moshla powder
    1tsp chilli flakes optional
    1tsp dry roasted cumin and coriander seeds-coarsely ground
    Salt to taste
    Lots of green chillies for heat
    More julienne ginger to garnish
    Cooking method: In a pot/karai add some neutral oil, add whole spices. Add the beef pieces along with some salt. Mix well. Cook on medium high heat until beef starts to change color. Now add all the veggies – diced onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic and chillies. Cover and cook on low for 30min. Take the lid off, give it a mix. At this point the veggies are softened which will form a gravy.
    Now add the chilli flakes, gorom moshla and the freshly ground cumin and coriander. Mix well.
    Cover again and cook on low until meat it tender.
    At this point add he potatoes and a little water if you want some gravy. Simmer for a few more minutes with the lid on.
    Lastly garnish with lots of sliced chillies, and ginger!
    Serve wigh crispy flaky porota and enjoy❤
